Jenny & Ly's Modern Coastal Minimal Contemporary Home

For Jenny and Ly, this renovation marked the start of a new chapter. With all their kids moved out and the home finally theirs to shape, they wanted joinery that felt calm, modern and timeless — a space that reflected the relaxed lifestyle they were stepping into.

Their vision was a blend of modern coastal and minimal contemporary. Clean lines, soft tones and an open, airy feel were at the heart of the design. Paired with smooth 2 Pac cabinetry with warm wood-look laminate to bring in that natural coastal warmth without losing the sleek contemporary edge, the contrast between the bright white finishes, matte black hardware and timber textures added depth while keeping the overall look fresh and effortless.

Every element — from the long island bench, to the generous storage, to the light streaming through the high windows — was designed to create a calm, welcoming space they could enjoy every day.
